UPCOMING CLASSES

First off, a huge thanks for our family for all of the support thus far, it is humbling to say the least.

The surgery date has been pushed back because the team wanted more experience in the operating room, so the assisting surgeon's boss is now going to be in there.

As some of you are aware, I (Brad)was flown to Duke University hospital at the end of September unexpectedly.  There I was diagnosed with a dilated and dissected Aortic arch.  In the week I spent there, it was determined that it was not leaking so no emergency surgery was needed, but it would need to be repaired soon.

I am now scheduled to go back down on December 8th, first for a catherization to have surgery on December 10th to repair (basically a complete overhaul) the aortic arch, which includes all sorts of doctory terms.

During that time, my wife Sarah is having to take leave from her work, mostly unpaid, to take care of me(which should be a paid gig anyway, as I don't do well in hospitals and am not the best patient) and cutting our income in half.  The anticipated stay in the hospital will be approximately one week and then more downtime once we are home.

I am unable to run training for some time after that, which I will greatly miss.  While I do have an amazing other job, which is still being awesome and paying me, we did rely on her income also and with the monies generated from the VTG classes and training.

I am asking for your help to assist us through this tough time, Christmas is coming too, so we want to do everything we can to stay above water as well as provide a good Christmas for the kids.

Below is a link where you can pay $25 or multiples of that if you want to help my family out.  Anything you pay now can be applied towards any future classes or training with Virginia Training Group.  If you are unable, that's cool too, send the good vibes, juju, etc.  I'll take all the help I can get.

I don't like doing this, but the bills still have to be paid and the estimate for the surgery is around the cost of a house(insurance should help but it's out of network and unsure yet as to how much), so I am sucking it up and asking for help.

Thanks for your help and I look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026 once we get back to running classes.
